How to read the result
Effective PPI is the lower of horizontal PPI and vertical PPI. 300 PPI is a common high-quality target for close-viewed prints, 200 PPI is often acceptable, 150 PPI is visibly softer, and lower values are usually risky unless viewed from far away.
Sources, formulas, and limits
These calculators use standard print formulas: physical size × PPI for pixels, pixels ÷ physical size for effective PPI, and trim size plus bleed on every outside edge for full-bleed artwork. Marketplace specifications can change, so use official upload previews as the final check before publishing or printing.
