Choose the template that matches the handoff
A buyer instruction template should be short, plain, and focused on which file to print. A production checklist should be stricter because it controls dimensions, bleed, fonts, image resolution, and export settings.
For marketplace files, the template should also explain what the customer receives and what they do not receive. For production PDFs, the checklist should be completed before the file enters a proofing or upload preview step.

How to use these templates
Copy the checklist, replace the bracketed details with your own product information, and attach the relevant calculator output. Keep the language conservative: do not promise printer approval, platform approval, or identical color across monitors and papers.
Before publishing a template-backed product, run a manual proof. Open the PDF or image at 100% scale, confirm final dimensions, inspect edges for bleed coverage, and check whether important text sits safely inside the printable area.

- Attach trim, spine, and bleed numbers to KDP covers.
- Attach page size, bleed, font, and image-resolution notes to print PDFs.
